Appearing Friday 14th & Saturday 15th |
Our Saturday Night Event features
Wheeler Street.
A young band who have a passion which is clear to anyone who meets them.
They have all played from an early age, acquiring skills that belie their ages and covering a breadth of instruments including fiddle, guitar, whistle, melodeon, bouzouki, mandolin, concertina, drums, bass and voice with a particular skill for close harmony.
When performing, they produce an explosion of energy that leaves audiences clamouring for more.
'Like the Pogues without the punk…
they play with every bit of the authenticity mustered by the likes of Fairport Convention' Q, Feb ‘09
