Friday 6th May NOW SOLD OUT

Our Friday Night Event features
The Blockheads

who are promising to play their classic 'New Boots and Panties' in its entirety.

There's no doubting that they are the most loveable, eccentric, cocky, funny, schoolboy-rude and artful characters from the punk generation. Together with Ian Dury they created songs that were clever, insightful, subversive and just plain fun.

Clevor Trever (sic), Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick, Reasons To Be Cheerful Part 3, What A Waste and the anthem for their generation, Sex and Drugs and Rock n Roll, all carried the same trademark mix of humour, indignation, wonderfully witty wordplay and extreme musicianship.

Dury may no longer be with us but The Blockheads - nearing their 35th Anniversary - remain one of the hardest working groups to have emerged from the decade that gave us some of the most exciting and original music since the birth of rock and roll.

Away With The Faeries ...
have supported The Blockheads regularly and we are pleased to welcome this exciting young band to Raunds.

Since forming in 2009, this quartet have worked to develop their own unique acoustic sound, blending traditional folk music with their own material.

"If I was an A&R man I'd sign them"
(Chas Jankel of The Blockheads)

Tautas Roks.....
are a young local band who generate a gutsy, traditional folk sound that marries the magic of a rock beat and a cool attitude.

Their material, delivered with a bucketload of enthusiasm, reflects the British and Latvian heritage of the band's members
