On The Square on Saturday:

Moulton Morris

Moulton Morris, from Northamptonshire, pride themselves on being one of the best traditional dance teams in the country.

As well as performing all the varieties of Sword and Morris, they specialise in local dances of this area.

They are accompanied by melodeon, fiddle and concertina with
nationally renowned musicians
among their membership.

Kamolins
(pronounced Car-moore-linsh)
was founded in 1950 and is the longest-established Latvian folk dance group in Europe.

Performed by either 4 or 8 pairs, their dances are mainly traditional folk dances choreographed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  However, their leader, Maris Pulis, choreographs some of his own dances to suit the needs of the changing audience.
